Dr. Ellen Buckwalter is a clinical psychologist with expertise in working with children for over 30 years. She has worked in many types of treatment programming, ranging from residential treatment facilities, to partial and full hospitalization programming, to Wraparound services. She is an astute listener who will pick up on subtle nuances and details that can make all the difference in understanding your child. Dr. Buckwalter has vast experience with all mental health diagnoses, including Autism, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, and trauma related disorders. Given that she has worked in Montgomery and surrounding communities for 25 years, she has a wealth of information on resources that may benefit your family. Dr. Buckwalter will be attentive to any co-occurring disorders, allowing for a well rounded understanding of your child. Dr. Buckwalter’s style is laid back, and she will quickly help you and your child feel comfortable.
